I couldn't get the polishing stones in to a couple of places (to remove slivers of forge scale) and there was a bit of unevenness in part of the blade. I considered trying to grind them out, but the blade has a very specific profile, and I would have lost that.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo, I'll be selling it at the discounted price of £140, rather than £175. It's purely cosmetic, and reminds us that it is actually hand forged.
